Hello! It's been a while since I last posted about myself and with many new followers, it's time. For me, it's time to face my fears and introduce myself all in one!

Yes, that's right, all in one. Posting an introduction falls into my bucket that is labeled fear. It's not easy for me to put myself out there, and it may seem like making a blog post is easy peasy for me because I do it often, but it's not. I always think to myself, is there anyone out there who really wants to see ME? Does anyone really want to learn about ME? I know that the answer to these questions is yes, however I still struggle with it. It's not in my natural personality to place myself in the middle of the action, or to put my face out there. I like to hide behind my lens and my computer screen, and share other people's live with you. So, I made a deal with myself today that I would share 2 things about me that most people don't know. Ready?

1. I'm an ambivert. Though, if you know me personally, and also read the words I typed above, you may have already figured that out. In lot of situations I am extroverted- I take the lead, guide people, am outwardly helpful to people, easily make other people feel comfortable- like when I am with clients. I thrive in these situations, so being a photographer is a really good fit for me. But... I am also introverted in some situations. In fact, I remember the first time someone called me introverted (my boss at my first corporate job) and I just about died inside. I thought to myself, 'yeah right, none of my friends or family would agree with that!' But as I thought about it, she was totally right. In that situation, 22 years old and straight out of college, working with people more than double my age with just as much experience, I was introverted. I didn't speak up. I didn't put myself and my knowledge out there. I still do this sometimes in my personal life. I stay in my bubble, and don't put myself out there. As I grow older it's much more rare, but it still happens and that's okay. It's part of me. So the next time you see me and I'm chatting it up like I am always an extrovert, know that I am, but only most of the time.

2. I truly dislike coffee. <gasp!> I know, right? It's hard to believe, but I am in no way a coffee drinker. I'm one of those oddities that runs on no caffeine, at all. It's not that I think caffeine is terrible, because I certainly don't. It's simply because I don't like the taste of coffee, not even a little bit. Not even a pint of coffee stout, not even a slice of tiramisu. It's simply not for me. I know you're about ready to quit reading because you just can't relate, but let me tell you what saves this. I like wine. I like wine a lot. So you have your coffee all day, and I'll drink the wine!
