What to Expect When Getting Photos Taken at JMP

As you know, creating a wonderful experience for my clients is one of my top priorities. The other priority is of course to produce unforgettable photos! 

It’s simple really. My job is to provide a comfortable and fun atmosphere in which to capture the real and best moments of families and couples. Then, I add in a bit of spoiling and gift giving, and voila! You have me, and my business, in a cute little package. That’s it! It sounds easy enough, right? Well, honestly, it really is because I LOVE doing it! 

I LOVE providing a comfortable atmosphere here in Asheville for my families and couples to relax and have fun. Time and time again I receive testimonials that include how much fun a family had during their photo shoot. Gone are the days of stiff family photo shoots, and now are the days of a fun time making memories with your life loves! Lindsay said, “Jessica did an amazing job photographing our family. I LOVE bringing out the best and real moments in a family or couple. When we step into a photo shoot we want our real life moments captured. We want to remember the emotion and connection in those moments. That’s exactly what I do for families and couples. I set them up for success. I set them up to share their deepest connections and dynamics as if I weren’t there. I set them up to share in the moment and capture that emotion. The moments captured are then still photographs that they can look back at in the years to come, and know exactly how they felt during that moment together. I take great care in capturing the love that people share. Taking time to capture Mom with her teenage son, Dad with his little girl, and a couple situated perfectly in the comfort of each others arms is what I do. It is a gift I so happily give my families and couples, and a huge part of what makes me LOVE what I do. Molly and Amber said, "If there were more than 5 stars Jessica would have them all! I LOVE being a resource before and after my time with clients. From the first contact with a family or couple, I offer all the help I can. Getting ready to have photos taken isn’t always easy. Coordinating outfits, choosing a location, and getting everyone on board are just some of the obstacles. From assisting with outfit ideas, to recommending a photography session location here in Asheville, I am more than happy to help! I also love assisting folks from out of town with Asheville restaurant recommendations, things to do in western North Carolina, and off the beaten path ideas to have the most fun while visiting our beautiful area.

I LOVE spoiling my clients in any way I can! Whether it’s bringing a meal to a family with a newborn baby, offering to watch older siblings while Mom needs to step away with the littlest, or sending cute little thank you gifts in the mail, I love it all! It’s in my nature. I’m a helpful soul and gift giving is my love language. I am beyond grateful for all of the opportunities I get in this business, to spoil my clients. Ellen said, “Fabulous does not even begin to describe Jessica! Our photo session started with a bomb! A diaper bomb explosion to be exact! It was quite the mess. Luckily, our star of the shoot had a change of clothes but I did not. Jessica not only kept our older 2 boys entertained while we cleaned up our 6 month old but she even offered me the shirt off her own back!! And even with all of our early chaos our pictures turned out amazing! This was our third time using Jessica to capture our family photos and I doubt we will use anyone else!
