Can I start out by saying, holy cow this place is gorgeous?! It’s modern, chic, and simply beautiful. The lobby, the lounge, the rooms, and even the front lawn are a visual treat!
This week I spent some time with Julie, the on-site catering sales manager, soaking in the sights of the buildings and property at The Foundry Hotel in downtown Asheville. She and I met last year when she was planning her wedding, and again this year at a local wedding expo. She’s the sweetest little thing, and we had a ball touring the hotel!
I arrived at The Foundry Hotel on foot and am so glad that I did. I was able to enjoy every ounce of this amazing entrance! As I walked through the main entrance gate I was greeted by beautiful historic brick buildings, an immaculately landscaped front lawn, and a very welcoming set of valet drivers. As I looked around I noticed all of the clean lines throughout the property- the exterior walls, the railings, the landscaping, all of it. I knew right away that I was going to love this venue as The Foundry Hotel fits my personal style perfectly!
As Julie and I worked our way through the hotel we stopped in and saw all of the spaces like the lounge, the meeting room, the ballroom, standard guest rooms, and the honeymoon suite. Julie also took me to a few special places that are unique to the property and pay homage to the original Asheville Foundry and Supply Company that it once was over 100 years ago. All areas are expertly pulled together with similar style and those clean lines I love!
To customize the perfect Asheville wedding for a couple and their families, the options are endless! Some of my favorites are the options of getting ready in the grand honeymoon suite along with the wedding party, an open air ceremony on the front lawn surrounded by the history of Asheville’s downtown, cocktail hour in a side lobby with incredible light bites catered by their on site restaurant, Benne on Eagle, and a wedding reception for 120 guests in the ballroom next to exposed brick with an abundance of natural light. Doesn’t that sounds dreamy?!
This entire space is perfect for a downtown Asheville wedding, destination or not, complete with any amenity you can dream of. If I were planning a wedding, The Foundry Hotel would be a top choice! I absolutely fell in love with it! In fact, I think a surprise staycation for my husband and I is in order. ♥
