Sweet smiles, a baby bump on a beautiful Momma to be, and the gorgeous backdrop of Biltmore Estate in Asheville made this maternity photo session one for the books! These two beauties shined bright in these photos with their baby to be and we had a blast capturing it!

Brandon and Katie are a sweet couple who are overjoyed with the pending arrival of their little one. From a sweet little gray stuffed elephant to baby’s first book, they brought some of the best props to show their little one the love they have. They also brought their sweet smiles and gentle demeanor that went perfectly with their immense love that they are ready to share.

For our session we decided on Biltmore Estate by the lagoon. There are many beautiful spots for photos here in this small area and it is perfectly quiet at sunset in the summer. The lagoon lane, the Biltmore house on the hill with reflection on the lagoon, the tall grass, the large oak trees, and the paved path are just some of my favorite spots as an Asheville photographer. The diversity and contrast of the area is why I love photographing here, and this part of the Biltmore Estate certainly did not disappoint us for these photographs!

From the start of the session I could tell that Katie and Brandon were excited, and they were instantly comfortable in front of my camera. We took our time capturing the true love that they have for one another, and for their little one arriving soon. They are caring, sweet, gentle, and are absolutely in love with their little bundle. I cannot wait to capture their family of three in a couple of months after baby arrives!
