This elopement was sweet, fun, and full of little moments that only Rosalie and Sam understood. It was a perfect ceremony for the two of them, just as they envisioned it, and they kindly shared it with friends and family from across the country at the Botanical Gardens in Asheville. 

With summer thunderstorms working their way across western North Carolina, high humidity engulfing the area, and summer heat on our skin, we dodged raindrops for this Asheville mountain elopement, and I loved every minute of it! We had a perfectly quiet afternoon for this celebration at the Botanical Gardens and were all grateful that the rain held off. Mother Nature graciously gave us beautiful summer clouds with even mid afternoon light, and a light breeze. The Botanical Gardens were full of wildflower blooms, bright green grass, and full tree cover. It truly was a perfect park wedding!

Throughout their wedding ceremony, Rosalie and Sam shared sweet smiles, quirky looks, and playful banter. It was wonderful to see their fun dynamic, and how they brought it into their wedding ceremony. Not all couples feel comfortable enough in front of a crowd to truly be themselves. You can see it shine through in some of their wedding photos and I love that they will have these moments at their fingertips in the future, so that they can look back at them anytime! 

After the elopement ceremony we spent some time walking through the Botanical Gardens capturing their newly married love. From walking together under big oak trees while holding hands, to sitting together and being silly, these two were a ton of fun to photograph! They shared their laughter, love, and connection in front of my camera. They truly love to have fun with one another and I was honored to capture it!
