2019 was an amazing year for me here at JMP! I photographed the most beautiful couples on their big day, connected with some incredible new vendors, and absolutely loved every minute of it!

At the end of each year I cull through all of my favorite wedding photos to choose some to add to my portfolio. This year, it’s extra hard. In fact, I am in the middle of doing it right now. I had to take a quick break to start writing this and give my brain a moment to reset. It’s tough, y’all! I photographed such amazing couples in amazing locations this year! Add this to my love for each couple and their story and it’s practically impossible! Send help?

Seriously though, I truly enjoyed 2019. Each year in my business is a little bit different, and this past year was one of my favorites. I traveled for two wedding weekends which gave me the opportunity to shoot in two new cities- Washington, DC and Raleigh, and was lucky enough to photograph at new wedding venues in the Asheville area, too- Lake Eden Events, Spinning Leaf at The Vineyard, The Farm at Green Heron Pond, Homewood, The Foundry Hotel, and West Asheville Garden Retreat. Each of these venues is truly unique, and that’s one thing I love about being a wedding photographer in Asheville. There are a lot of venues in the area, but each one has something new and different to offer. I honestly would have a hard time choosing if I was getting married! 

To all of my couples, I thank you for putting your trust in me and supporting my business and family. I truly loved photographing your weddings and capturing your joy, excitement, and love. Thank you for being so amazing that I now consider you friends.
