This little chapel makes my heart happy. It sits in the back yard of a private residence here in Asheville, on the most beautifully landscaped city lot with amazingly manicured gardens. It’s peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and perfect for a small wedding like Ashley and Warren’s! I adore it!

These two lovelies hosted their micro wedding at this gorgeous and unique little chapel, and it was simply amazing! While surrounded by family and friends they shared their hand written vows, big smiles, and a few tears. It was a magnificent afternoon and I am grateful to have been a part of it! 

Since Ashley and Warren traveled in to Asheville for their destination wedding, their wedding day was the first time we met in person. When I arrived at the tiny chapel Warren greeted me with grace. I could tell he was excited and was very ready to marry Ashley. At this time Ashley was tucked away awaiting the start of the ceremony. After guests were seated, Warren escorted his parents to their seats and took his place at the altar. Next Ashley and her father walked down the long back yard pathway and into the chapel, all the while smiling from ear to ear in anticipation. It was a beautiful entrance and precessional, and truly gave me chills! 

As Ashley and Warren stood hand in hand at the altar they prayed together, read their hand written vows, and listened intently to the officiants words. Laughter was shared and a few tears were present, but ultimately the love and support felt in that tiny chapel was immense and absolutely wonderful. They completed their wedding ceremony with a kiss, lots of smiles, and a ton of cheering from their guests. As they exited the tiny chapel they paused for more kisses among the rose bushes and it was beautiful!

Throughout the rest of our time together capturing wedding photos of the two of them in this beautiful space, Warren and Ashley were filled with such joy. Even though I had only met them in person an hour prior, I could easily tell that these two were a perfect fit for one another.
