Though many things are cancelled this summer, love is not! Just like this Botanical Gardens at Asheville proposal photography! I have been fortunate to capture so many amazing love stories through weddings, elopements, maternity sessions, engagements, and proposals like this one. I always love my job, but this summer, I especially love watching my amazing clients find joy their own way!
Harrison’s proposal to Lauren at the Asheville Botanical Gardens was no different. It was absolutely beautiful, unique, and the best surprise ever! Lauren’s reaction and emotions were perfect and her engagement ring is stunning!
When Harrison first contacted me about photographing his proposal to Lauren, he told me that they were on a two week road trip and near the end of their trip they were coming to Asheville where he wanted to propose. Right then, I was crushing on this couple! An extended road trip adventure and proposal all in one?! Now that’s my style!
Since Harrison wasn’t familiar with Asheville, I offered to send him some of my favorite photography spots in the area. He looked over them and chose one that is always at the top of my list, the Botanical Gardens under the arched bridge. This spot is quiet, little known, and beautiful, plus it was perfect for this proposal!
When Harrison led Lauren down to the creek for his proposal he was very relaxed. He took his time, they joked a bit, and then he got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him! It was an amazing moment and Lauren’s excitement was incredible! Her smile grew immensely, her eyes lit up, and she was completely overjoyed! Both Harrison and Lauren were the sweetest in these moments! They shared in the excitement together with many hugs, giggles, looks at the ring, and of course a few kisses. They were both beyond happy to start this new adventure together!
Throughout the rest of our Botanical Gardens at Asheville proposal photography, Lauren and Harrison were the cutest! Their joy was through the roof and they let the world know! We walked through the Botanical Gardens capturing their love and excitement along the creek, on the trails, and in front of gorgeous greenery. The location for these photos didn’t really matter though. Their joy was beyond amazing and I was so happy to be there to capture it all for them!
