Something Blue Mountain Venue Wedding Photography | Kim + Dustin Wedding Photos Preview

This wedding at Something Blue Mountain Venue was absolutely gorgeous! Kim and Dustin put their personal touches on an already stunning mountain location and it was incredible!

We had the most amazing spring day with a warm breeze and bits of sunshine at this beautiful venue that sits high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just east of Asheville, NC. It was my first time photographing at this Asheville wedding venue and I loved it! With the long range mountain views, gorgeous getting ready spaces, and lovely staff, it’s truly a gem of a venue!

When I arrived at Something Blue Mountain Venue I of course was blown away by the beautiful property! I took a look around and scoped out many spots for photos with Kim and Dustin. I then checked in with the two of them while they were getting ready and began capturing their big day with their incredible decor! Kim and Dustin brought the most beautiful personal touches for their wedding decor. From flowers to lanterns, and signs to sparklers, it was all so very beautiful and personal.

During the ceremony Kim and Dustin braided the cord of three strands together. This symbolizes the joining of Kim, Dustin, and God, and it sure was a beautiful few moments. With the mountain views behind them, it brought their lives together in a way that is especially unique and perfect for the two of them.

Throughout the rest of the day Kim and Dustin never left each other’s side. Greeting guests, enjoying the views, sharing sweet looks, and listening to a personal song performed by Dustin’s father was all experienced together, just as they wanted it.

I loved walking this beautiful property for stunning wedding photography with the two of them while capturing their unbreakable connection on their wedding day! Congratulations, Kim + Dustin!
