Omni Grove Park Inn Wedding Photographer | Kristine + Scott Asheville Wedding Photography Preview

In the past few years I have determined that the best way to celebrate the Fourth of July is by capturing a couple vowing their love for one another in front of their favorite people! Photographing weddings on this holiday weekend couldn’t be more exciting! With the patriotic celebrations already started, beautiful weather, and fireworks to end the night, it’s truly perfect!

Kristine and Scott chose to host their Fourth of July wedding celebration at Omni Grove Park Inn, and I cannot think of a better venue to host a wedding on this holiday weekend! Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC is wonderfully historic, was built over 100 years ago by hard working local laborers, has hosted many presidents and guests who helped shape our country, and is absolutely beautiful!

When I arrived at Omni Grove Park Inn I made my way to their ceremony and reception site, Seely Pavilion. It is a beautiful stand alone building on the property that boasts large floor to ceiling windows, a huge fireplace to match those in the main lobby of the hotel, and has gorgeous long range mountain views right from the dance floor. Even though Omni Grove Park Inn is a large hotel with many guest rooms, restaurants, shops, and more, Seely Pavilion is tucked away. It is wonderfully private and quiet, and is perfect for a private wedding celebration.

As I began my day capturing photos of Kristine and her girls getting ready, and Scott’s first look with his daughters, I could feel the excitement in both of them. Each was keeping busy and enjoying the time with their favorite people, but I could tell they were both very excited and very ready to see each other at the altar.

When the time came for the ceremony to start, the sun was shining bright, the sky donned puffy white clouds, the air was warm, and the breeze was cool. It was a beautiful summer day! Soon Scott and his daughters walked down the aisle and waited for Kristine. All three of them had huge smiles on their faces and a tear or two in their eyes as she approached. It was a beautiful moment as they all adore one another and are so very excited for their happy future together! As the ceremony progressed Kristine and Scott shared their vows and lots of sweet looks. It was a very personal ceremony and I loved every minute of it!

At the reception Kristine and Scott took time to greet guests, dance with family members, share cake, and have a fabulous time! We ended the evening with sunset wedding photos just off the terrace of Seely Pavilion and I cannot think of a better ending to a beautiful wedding day!
