Wow! What an incredible family session at one of the most beautiful places I have photographed thus far! We are all familiar with Yellowstone National Park- many wild animals, hot springs, geysers, open land, forests, mountains, and more. For me, there is so much more in this national park than the average visitor sees. If you stop and take a moment to look around, the beauty alone is amazing, and for this family session, our spot along the river with mountain views behind it was perfect!

The Hutchings family was planning their vacation to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park when we connected about family photos. They are from Texas, so it was important to them to have their photos near mountains and rugged wild land, which they don’t have near their home. When visiting this part of Yellowstone National Park earlier in my trip, I found the perfect spot. It boasted mountain views, dry rugged land, quick and easy access to the Gardner River, and lots of character. When I pitched this spot to the Hutchings, they loved it as much as I did!

This family was a ton of fun to photograph! They were constantly laughing, playing, and having a great time, but also took a moment from time to time to share sweet hugs and snuggles. It was the perfect balance for this photo shoot!

It was amazing to capture this family all together in this truly incredible place, and I know that they will remember this photo shoot and cherish these photos for years to come!
