Fall Biltmore Estate Engagement Proposal In The Walled Garden | Khushi + Kiran Proposal Photos Preview

Khushi and Kiran are engaged! They had the most beautiful fall afternoon in the Walled Garden at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC for their engagement proposal, and it was such an honor to capture this moment for them!

You all know that I love capturing proposals, and there was something extra special about this one. Maybe it was that Khushi was utterly surprised by the timing of Kiran's proposal, maybe it was that Kiran chose to propose among the fall mums in Biltmore Estate's Walled Garden, or maybe it was the warm orange fall sunshine that covered us that afternoon. Whatever it was, it was magical!

As Khushi and Kiran approached the area for the proposal, Khushi stopped to take photos and look around. I could see Kiran gently leading Khushi to his chosen proposal spot. During this time, the Walled Garden was busy, and lots of other guests were passing through. Kiran patiently waited a few seconds for the crowd to clear and then turned to take Khushi’s hand. He set Khushi up to take a photo of her among the mums, in the exact spot he wanted to propose. He took the photo, and then dropped down on one knee to ask Khushi his big question! Khushi was extremely surprised by the proposal, and instantly became emotional. Her response was so sweet, and showed how excited she is to spend her life with Kiran!

After the proposal, we took more engagement photos in the Walled Garden among the mums. It was such a beautiful day with warm air, golden sunshine, and the smell of fall. I could have stayed there all afternoon! Alas, we left the area for more photos around the house and gardens.

Throughout the rest of our time together, Khushi and Kiran donned huge smiles, Kiran shared stories about how he set up this proposal day, and Khushi talked about how surprised she was. It was amazing to listen to their happiness!

We wrapped up our session with the grand views of the Biltmore house, and of course, more photos of these two cuties on the esplanade!
