What an evening we had capturing this cute couple’s engagement at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC! Colin set up the sweetest proposal on the upper esplanade, Sadie excitedly said “Yes!”, and we took full advantage of Biltmore Estate’s gorgeous winter sunset!

This mid-winter proposal is one I will not soon forget! The grounds at Biltmore Estate were very quiet, and it felt like we had the place to ourselves at times. We were able to venture into nooks and crannies around the house for their engagement photos that I don’t typically get to take clients since it is the off season. The winter sunset was absolutely gorgeous with its extra warm hue, and I adored how the light danced through Sadie’s hair. And of course, these two beauties were a blast to be with and shared their love in front of my camera so easily! It was such an honor to capture this amazing time for them!

One of my favorite times during this session was when I asked Sadie + Colin to hold hands and walk toward the mountains together. They fell right in stride together and looked as if they had been walking off into the sunset together for their entire lives! These two fit together like perfect puzzle pieces, and I’m excited for their future! It’s going to be full of love, connection, and a lot of fun!
