Biltmore Estate Engagement Photographer | Danielle + Henry Proposal Session Preview

This drizzly morning proposal at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC was absolutely picture perfect! I loved capturing Henry and Danielle’s surprise on the estate’s gorgeous esplanade while overlooking the mountains!

When Henry contacted me a couple of months ago, he was eager to plan his proposal. He knew he wanted to propose at one of the most picturesque places at Biltmore Estate, and goodness did he choose well! I absolutely love this spot on the esplanade! Henry also knew that he wanted to set himself up for the proposal by telling Danielle that he had booked a photographer for a couples session, so that part way through the session he could completely change gears and propose right then and there. He did just that, and I loved the outcome! Right in the middle of me giving them instructions, he turned to Danielle, spoke his sweet words, and dropped down to one knee. I simply backed up a bit and captured the entire thing! Danielle was so very surprised in that moment and had a beautiful reaction while saying “Yes!” I loved every minute of it!

Throughout the rest of the photo shoot at Biltmore Estate, I loved capturing their laughter, smiles, and cute looks at one another while we walked around the estate. We were lucky enough to have a few typically busy spots to ourselves, like the library terrace. It was absolutely gorgeous with its overhanging vines and mountain views. It was such a treat!

I had a blast with these two love birds and am grateful to have been a part of their announcement to the world! Congratulations again you two!
