Biltmore Estate Engagement Photographer | Alisa + Justin Proposal

Let’s talk about the JOY that these two share! Even though I only spent a short time with Alisa + Justin during their marriage proposal and engagement photos, their big laughter, big love, and big connection shined during every moment! They truly are each other’s person, and I especially loved capturing their spontaneous snuggles and excitement!

We had a chilly morning for Alisa + Justin’s proposal in Asheville, NC, but with the sun shining and the fact that they got engaged, it was a beautiful one! They braved the cold temperatures and strong winds to profess their love for one another on Biltmore Estate’s esplanade, and it could not have been more perfect!

Biltmore Estate was quiet, private, and oh so pretty on this chilly morning. Since we scheduled their proposal for the early morning, not many guests had arrived at the estate yet. We had the entire esplanade to ourselves, and Justin was able to take all the time he wanted to ask Alisa to marry him. He spoke his sweet words, and Alisa, of course, said, “Yes!”

As we walked through the grounds near the house and gardens, these two were the cutest. Alisa had lots of questions for Justin- how he planned the proposal, who knew about the proposal, and more. Listening to these stories is one of my favorite things about capturing proposals. I love to hear how someone convinced their partner to dress in nice clothes, go to a specific spot at a specific time, and more. Plus, it’s always fun to learn who in their tight circle of family and friends knew about the proposal before it happened. It’s like looking into their friends’ and family dynamic, and so fun!

Throughout our time together, these two could not let go of one another. They were constantly holding hands, snuggling, and sharing beautiful moments. They are such a sweet couple who love being together, and I wish them nothing but the best as they start their journey as a married couple! Congratulations again, you two!
