I’m still swooning over these incredibly fun engagement photos of David + Chris! I absolutely LOVED capturing their love at the Botanical Gardens at Asheville, and am excited to share more photos with y’all!

Their sheer happiness and love for one another is something to be celebrated, so we did just that! These engagement photos are a precursor to them getting married later this year, and I cannot wait to see them again and photograph their big day! It is going to be an absolute blast!

When I first talked with David about capturing his and Chris’ wedding this September at Twisty Maple wedding venue near Asheville, NC, I knew they were going to be a fabulously fun couple! Since I didn’t get to meet Chris on that Zoom call, I wasn’t 100% sure of their dynamic, but I still knew they were going to be such fun to be around. I certainly was not disappointed when I met them both in person for their engagement photos! From the moment we made eye contact across the parking lot, all three of us were smiling big! There were no handshakes or distanced hellos, there were hugs! Those hugs were followed by stories, lots of laughter, and tons of fun as we made our way around the Botanical Gardens for their engagement photos.

During our engagement photo session we of course captured lots of laughter, but we also captured the sweet looks and smiles they make when looking lovingly at one another, the absolute joy that they share, and the true and strong love and connection that they have for one another. It was all so very beautiful!

From holding hands and walking together in the open green space, dancing under a giant oak tree, sitting close and snuggling by the creek, and surprising each other during a sneak attack, these two were such a treat to photograph! Their connection is unmatched, and it was truly an honor to photograph this special time for them! I cannot wait to capture their wedding in a few months!
