It was so wonderful to meet sweet Elaina! I photographed her parent’s maternity photos while she was still growing, and now that she is here, they are a perfect little family of three! This gorgeous girl shared a lot of her personality with me in the time we shared together at this photo shoot, and it was so much fun!

When we arrived at the Botanical Gardens in Asheville, NC, the skies were clear and sunny, and the air was warm. Elaina was awake and happy, so we got started right away. First, we captured photos of Elaina with her Dad, and then her Mom. She was very happy to snuggle with each of them, all the while she was curious about me, and my camera. Since she was curious, she did a great job looking right at me for photos, which is a great way to start!

Throughout the entire photo shoot, Elaina was very settled and the perfect little 3 month old model. We walked to a few different places in the Botanical Gardens, including the open green space, the creek, and the rock benches. My families LOVE photos in the open green space here, and honestly, who wouldn’t? It’s calm, quiet, and oh so beautiful!

To wrap up our session, we captured a few photos of these three beauties hanging out together. I love capturing families interacting as if I am not there. It’s a fabulous way to capture a family’s natural connection, and makes for the most beautiful photos!

Elaina was the cutest for her 3 month photos. Her beautiful white lace dress popped perfectly off of our deep summer greens here in Asheville. She shared close snuggles with her parents, and was so very relaxed throughout our session.
