Asheville Newborn Photography in Studio | Baby Wren

Precious baby snuggles are one of the most uplifting things on earth, and I am grateful to witness them frequently in front of my camera! While I was with this beautiful couple and their brand new baby in my Asheville, NC photography studio, we captured snuggles with Mom, snuggles with Dad, newborn baby smiles, tiny toes, and lots of Wren's sweet personality.

From the moment this gorgeous family entered my studio space, we had such a peaceful and calm time together. This is important in newborn photography, because we as photographers want everyone in the room to be settled. As you know, babies sense stress and worry, so when everyone around them is settled, they are settled. In this case, we had a perfect scenario where Wren arrived sleepy, and her parents were as chill as a scoop of ice cream. It was a great start to our session!

Since baby Wren was so settled when she arrived, we jumped right into photos with her by herself. She slept softly in the gorgeous natural light of the studio, allowing me to unswaddle her, take close up photos, and even capture photos of her tiny toes! Seriously though- a baby swaddled in a watermelon blanket. Is there anything cuter?!

Throughout the rest of the session, Wren was awake a little bit, but still shared a few rare grins, and lots of snuggle time with her parents. From touching noses with Dad to getting sweet kisses from Mom, she was such a precious baby to photograph. I loved capturing this special time for the three of them!

We had such a lovely newborn photo shoot together and I am SO grateful! I loved meeting Wren and her parents in my photo studio, and cannot wait to capture their family as it grows!
