Biltmore Estate Engagement Proposal Photographer | Emmy + Hayden Proposal Photos Preview

What dreamy engagement photos we created, after such an amazing surprise proposal at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC! Hayden asked Emmy to marry him among the flowers of the walled garden, and it was absolutely beautiful! I adored walking around the estate with them after, while capturing their love!

If you’ve seen many of my proposal photography session blog posts or social media posts, you know that I include time for engagement style photos in my proposal photo shoots. I LOVE doing this because there is so much amazing connection and emotion to capture after a proposal! The joy is HIGH, the smiles are BIG, and the love is HUGE! These are moments that we don’t want to miss! Yes, of course, the proposal itself is what brings me together with a couple like Emmy and Hayden, but could you imagine if I captured the act of a proposal and then said “See you later! Have a great night!”? We would miss SO MUCH of the joy and all of the amazing moments that come immediately after a proposal! I simply cannot imagine it! It makes my stomach hurt just thinking about skipping these amazing moments! After all, couples are high on excitement while they walk around Biltmore Estate after their proposal, so it’s natural to want to capture all of that goodness!

For this proposal, Hayden opted to ask Emmy to marry him in one of my favorite spots- right in the middle of the blooms in the walled garden, with a peek of Biltmore house above the tree tops. Hayden’s big question came complete with nervous shakes and BIG joy! This is always a beautiful and colorful spot, and their joy among the flowers made these photos perfect!

Emmy and Hayden shared such a special time in front of my camera! I loved capturing this amazing time for them! Congratulations again, Emmy and Hayden!
