Biltmore Estate Engagement Proposal Photography | Mary + Bill Proposal Preview

Mary and Bill are engaged! This sunset proposal at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC was absolutely beautiful! The gorgeous light, exceptional scenery, and fun couple were amazing to capture!

As you may already know, I LOVE photographing couples and families all over Biltmore Estate. There are endless beautiful locations for photos, and in particular, Biltmore Estate’s lagoon lookout has one of my favorite views on this massive 8,000 acre estate. Situated between the lagoon and the river with views of the famous house on the hill, it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s also a quieter spot on the estate, as many guests don’t know that this area is available to them. With all of these perks, it’s a perfect spot for an engagement proposal and I’m so happy that Bill chose it for his marriage proposal to Mary!

When Bill first contacted me about proposing to Mary, I knew that he was going to do as much as he could to make this moment special for them. During the planning phase, this thought got reinforced, and during the proposal itself, I got to witness the entire thing go beautifully! Mary’s shock and excitement made for incredible still photographs, and their strong love shines through in the photos!

After the proposal, we took advantage of the many beautiful spots right near the lagoon for more photos. From laughing together as they walked down the dirt pathway to snuggling tight under the tall oak trees, it was amazing to capture their love! I adored seeing them and photographing them in their element!

Mary and Bill’s proposal in this spot was as gorgeous as ever, totally private as no one else was around, and a blast to capture!
