Asheville Photographer | 11 Year Anniversary

This week marks 11 YEARS in this amazing business of mine, being a photographer in Asheville, NC, and these silly photos say so much! Laughing with myself is part of why I'm successful as a solo entrepreneur. It is HARD WORK, and keeping it light and fun is what I need!

It's also very rewarding to be on this journey solo! To sit back and take a look at what I've built, with my own determination and skills, is amazing. My life has been full of long hours, worry, and lots of hustle. And guess what?! It’s totally worth it! I followed a dream that I had (and still have), worked hard to make it happen, and my life flourished! It’s amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it, isn’t it?

Really, where I am today is all thanks to YOU! You and all of my followers and supporters are the reason my schedule stays full, my social media feeds stay current, and my soul stays happy. Seeing your inquiries in my inbox, meeting you at fun locations for photo shoots, and driving off to epic weddings is what keeps me going. I adore my clients, and I am forever grateful!

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is that I get to meet so many amazing people and capture their most treasured moments. From newborn photos to extended family photos with elderly grandparents, and from senior photos to wedding photos, I love it all! I LOVE seeing my clients and their families grow, and I LOVE being a part of freezing their moments in time so that they can cherish them for the rest of their lives. I don’t take this job lightly. I know that I capture BIG moments, no matter how small they seem at the time, and those moments are everything to families. It’s truly an honor to be a part of that.
