Biltmore Estate Engagement Proposal Photographer | Savannah + Joey Proposal Photos Preview

This surprise proposal at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC was incredible! Savannah was utterly surprised by Joey’s big question, and I adored capturing their love!

Joey’s evening proposal to Savannah at Biltmore Estate’s lagoon with their dog, Hazel, by their side was so much fun! While I stood in the bushes and pretended to look for something I had lost, they casually approached the proposal spot. Everyone was relaxed, they took a few photos of the Biltmore house on the hill, and petted Hazel a few times. Suddenly, Joey dropped down on one knee, completely catching Savannah by surprise! She was floored and donned the biggest smile! As I started to approach and take closer photos, Hazel saw me and started barking. She was on high alert with all of the excitement happening, and I don’t think she liked my sneaky approach along with the ‘big dark box’ in front of my face! Savannah and Joey shared a few more minutes of sheer bliss, talking about the ring, and how Joey pulled off such an amazing surprise! It was beautiful!

We followed up the proposal with engagement photos of them near the lagoon and in a nearby sunflower field. Both Savannah and Joey wore HUGE smiles on their faces, and were overjoyed to be engaged! Hazel was a perfect lady in their photos and allowed me to hold her while we took photos of only Savannah and Joey. I adored capturing every minute of this session!

Photos at Biltmore Estate are one of my favorite things, and adding in a proposal at the lagoon, which is one of my favorite spots on the estate, makes this session extra magical! Congratulations again, Savannah and Joey!
