Asheville Newborn Baby Photographer, At Home Photo Shoot | Baby Valor

Perfect and precious baby Valor is here! He was the calmest and sweetest baby for our at home photos in Asheville, NC. He loved snuggling with his parents as well as hanging out by himself for his solo photos!

This sweet family holds a special place in my heart. I have known them for many years, and began capturing their family photos before their first child arrived, almost three years ago. It has been amazing to watch them grow from a family of two, to a family of three, and now to a family of four! When they told me that they were expecting another baby and asked me to capture Valor’s newborn photos, I was thrilled! Almost three years ago when Valor’s big sister was born, I captured her in home newborn photos as well, and I couldn’t wait to capture these sweet moments for them, too! When I arrived for their in home newborn photos in Asheville, they were all dressed and ready for me. Valor quietly slept in his mother’s arms as I got set up, and since he was settled and sleepy, I knew that I wanted to start with photos of him by himself. I took a minute to swaddle him and place him near the light of the window. He slept and relaxed through the entire process, even when I unwrapped him to show more of his newborn baby features. As the photo shoot went on, we captured photos of Valor with each of his parents, his big sister, and them all together, including their dog. They all did a fabulous job in front of my camera, and it made for beautiful newborn photographs!

There is no better compliment than when a family trusts me with capturing their life’s moments time and time again and it truly makes my heart happy when a family keeps coming back to me for photos. I adore watching them grow in front of my lens, and being a tiny part of their lives! Plus, giving them years of amazing moments to look back at for the rest of their lives is something I am truly grateful for!
